Students Selling Their Soul...err, Vote

Some would do it for a year's tuition, and others for a mere iPhone.  Is this the most materialistic generation ever, or is voting and youth synonymous for undervalued?

There's another way to look at it, though. What if you honestly - if mistakenly - believed that "voting" may be important but "your vote" isn't worth much? If you really don't care about your capacity to be or become an agent of change, then giving away your right to vote is not such a big deal. It becomes a matter of apathy, not greed.

Personally, I don't know which one I find more disturbing.
