As you said, the rules were there all along. It's no mystery that James Carville (Senator Clinton's campaign manager)was the executive producer on the latest remake of "All the King's Men." In it, Gov. Willie Stark tells a naive do-good physician that "..the right and the wrong. You make it up as you go."

That's exactly what this Clinton campaign is doing. Doing shots, lying about sniper fire, offering the leader a chance at second place, implying that your opponent is not fit by omitting him from specific compliments. These are all tactics to "soften" your biggest threat.

I would not be surprised if she tries to run as an independent, when the primaries end.

Marc, I would be surprised if she even thinks about running as an independent. Clinton may have an "ambition excess" but she's not stupid. Running as an independent will essentially destroy any possibility she may have, however slim, to become President in the future. I could see her not participating actively on the campaign trail - although I would also be surprised for exactly the same reason - but not running as an independent.

I honestly agree with you, but I saw a look on her face in this morning,s edition of Salon that made me wonder if she thinks that this is her last chance, and she better break the mirror, and floor it.

Joe Lieberman emancipated himself from partisanship. She may feel that she can win the presidency with the "hard working" people alone. She obviously feels to quit would cause her to loose them.

I don't think she should do it, but I doubt that my opinion counts to her.

Can she really run again in eight years? I doubt it. She already has the taint of Ex-Successfulness (yes a shameless plug: http://www.exsuccessful.blogspot.com).

;-D

Anyway, she is already running off the track ( Florida and Michigan). She may be strapped in, and ready to jump the barn, so to speak. I don't know.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear someone yell "Run like you stole it, Hillary Clinton!"

Remember, to pull it off would not only make her the first woman president, it would also make her the first independent. James Carville would also be able to retire as the greatest campaign manager in American history.

Oh and don't forget health care. Remember that?

I know it's crazy, but people do insane things all the time. And sometimes the shear madness of it draws followers. If she wins, she'll be known as the bravest woman in American history.

This country loves outlaws more than it loves law and order. Most of our heroes are anti-heroes, with an internal code of justice.

Law and order is only around to stave off the anarchists, communists and terrorists, and keep most of the poor, and the minorities in line.

And since she is none of those, she is free to "go, Baby, GO!"

Here's a video mashup of the last one we held: http://www.viddler.com/explore/oovoo/videos/4/4

If you could, please send me your contact info so I can explain what this is all about. Thanks!!
